Lake Erie Regional Grape Program Team Update

Our team has a new addition, and she is a familiar face to many of you. Jessica Clippinger is a research-driven professional with a unique blend of expertise in environmental science, applied statistics, and plant health. Her career path includes seven years as a U.S. Coast Guard officer, where she honed leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, followed by advanced academic training in statistics (M.S., URI) and plant health management (current M.S. candidate, The Ohio State University).

Jessica worked as a Research Assistant in a grape research and extension program with Bryan Hed at our North East lab, where she supported field trials, data collection, and statistical analysis to improve grapevine health and management practices. Jessica brings both hands-on agricultural research experience and a strong quantitative background in experimental design, regression modeling, and data interpretation to our LERGP team.

We are excited that she has joined our team and excited about how she can continue to support our stakeholders with her knowledge. Please join us in welcoming Jessica back to our industry as a member of the Lake Erie Regional Grape Program!
